Yorkshire Apprenticeship Hub holds informative business breakfast

Yorkshire Apprenticeships Hub, a new service offering friendly, impartial advice to employers and employees in the York, North Yorkshire and East Riding region, recently held a business breakfast at Scarborough TEC’s, formerly Yorkshire Coast College, Fledgling’s Restaurant, to celebrate Apprenticeships and the introduction of the new Levy.

Almost 50 local employers were invited to attend the meeting, which was hosted by Robert Goodwill MP, and saw speakers discussing different topics associated with Apprenticeship.

Cathy Hough, Director of Greater Lincolnshire Apprenticeships, discussed the new Apprenticeship Levy, along with Adam Beston, the Director of Boro Tyres and a former Apprentice, Bethany Sumpton, who is now the Data Compliance Coordinator at Scarborough TEC.

Yorkshire Apprentcieship Hub works with Small & Medium Enterprise businesses (SMEs) to understand your business needs and aspirations, and provide skills solutions to help your business grow. Employees must be 19+.
